Your initial exam will take approximately one hour. We’ll give you new patient forms to complete, then discuss the reasons for your visit as well as any concern or questions you may have. Dr. Sutter will perform a comprehensive exam and discuss your immediate and long-term concerns. He’ll check your teeth for decay, assess the health of your gums, and perform an oral cancer screening. During your exam, Dr. Sutter or his assistant will take pictures inside your mouth with a small intraoral camera Intraoral Cameras. A full set of X-rays will provide a comprehensive view of teeth and supporting structures to aid in efficient diagnosis.
Following your exam, Dr. Sutter will use the intraoral photos and X-rays to illustrate his findings and suggested treatments. He’ll explain your options and help you determine which therapies meet your needs, budget, and schedule.
